On December 12, 2016, leaders from each city general labor union and economic department director more than 30 people gathered in Xiamen, attending “master leads apprentice” meeting hold by XSI. XSI labor union chairman Wang Xiaoxia introduced master leads apprentice experience during the meeting, company quality control department welding laboratory Qiu Haijun and technical center hull department Wan Jianfeng made speeches during the meeting as representative of outstanding masters and apprentices. Later in the day, the group visited three model points of “master leads apprentice”.

        At about 10 o’clock December 12, Fujian general labor union party group member Lu Mingqi, province economic department director Zhu Yimin, Xiamen general labor union vice chairmen Chen Chaoying and other people entered the welding laboratory and interior work department craftsman group lofting desk and outfitting first department machinery bench work group. After reading master and apprentice agreements, learning documentation, apprentice note, examination record and other documents and listening related introduction, visiting people had a deep impression of Qiu Haijun master and apprentice, and praised the craftsman and enthusiasm of Huang Mulin master. At outfitting first department machinery bench work group which mainly work on ship thrust system main component process and instillation, the visiting group witnessed the achievement of XSI company level, department level and group level master and apprentice work.

        Since 2005-11-9 the first copy of “establish master and apprentice pair, train labors with high craftsmanship conduction scheme” delivered, the master and apprentice work have been conducting for five stages ten years. Master and apprentice have been an important part of our company manpower resource strategy; have been a long-time method of company labor training. Since conduction, master and apprentice have cultivated large amount of extraordinary young craftsman talent, greatly pushed the inheriting of company precious experience, craftsmanship and good style, benefitting the transformation and leveling up of company.
